Cleanup took hours. Not only did they have to clear out their own clan and wait for Jarek to get his own people, but they had to do some magical remedies on the humans so they weren’t drunk for the next five days. Not to mention fix three gaping holes in the building. Suspiciously werewolf sized holes, not that anyone would own up to that. They did leave people to sleep it off at the warehouse, though. They’d wake up on their own time and get themselves home.

Once back in their own territory, they poured people into the massive werewolf den and let them sleep it off there. Which his mother might take exception to, at least until he explained the situation. Ross wouldn’t offer a single hangover remedy, either. They deserved these well-earned desserts.

Finally, though, somewhere around midnight, he and Glenn were able to get back into their own house. Ross stripped off clothes and landed face first onto the mattress, having no energy to even think of doing something else.

Dammit, he never had gotten his cookies.

That somehow added insult to injury.

Glenn’s hands came and smoothed over his back, a knee resting next to his hip, the force of it dipping the mattress. His hands felt a little cool and slick, the scent of massage oil tickling Ross’s nose. He smiled against the sheets.

“Oh, do I get a massage?”

“For what you had to deal with tonight, I feel it well deserved.”

“Do I get more than a massage?” Ross was tired, but not that tired.

Glenn leaned in to murmur in a low rumble against his ear, “For your pleasure, astór.”

The evening might have started out as hazardous to Ross’s mental health, but at least it would go well for the rest of the night. And hey, as an extra bonus, all the troublemakers were sound asleep, which meant he might get some uninterrupted time with his husband for once.

The clan was never allowed anywhere near LARPing ever again, though. Ross would murder them first.
